    Let the amount of carbohydrates in chicken sandwich be x

    The amount of carbohydrates in salad will be 2x + 10

    (x) + (2x + 10) = 100

    x + 2x + 10 = 100

    x + 2x = 100 - 10

    3x = 90

    x = 90 / 3

    x = 30

    Therefore chicken sandwich has 30 grams of carbohydrates.

    Salad will have:

    2 (x) + 10 → 2 (30) + 10 → 60 + 10 = 70

    Salad has 70 grams of carbohydrates.
