If the hypotenuse of a 45°-45°-90° triangle is 13, what is the length of one of the legs?

    The square of the hypotenuse is 16 * 16 = 169

    So the sum of the squares of the other 2 sides = 169

    So the square of one side is 84.5

    So the length of one side is 9.19
