Cassandra has a rectangular patio in her backyard. the pation is 12.74 meters long and 5.45 meters wide. round the length and width to the nearest whole number then estimate the perimeter of cassandras patio write an equation to model your work.

    12.74 rounds up to 13; 5.45 rounds down to 5. Recatangles gave 4 sides, two sides are thto same length as each other, and the other two sides are the same length as each other (which is a poor way to explain it). What that means in the context of this question is that there are two sides with length 13 and two sides length 5. So, added together 13+13+5+5 would be th total perimeter. As an expression, 2 (13) + 2 (5) = 26+10=36. The perimeter is approximately 36 meters.
