    63.62 ft²

    Step-by-step explanation:

    Area of a square is given by b*b=b²

    Where b is the measurement of any side

    Given area of 81 ft² then to get b, we get rhe squareroot

    b²=81

    b=√81=9

    This 9 is the diameter of rhe circular area that mulch covers.

    Radius is half the diameter hence 0.5*9=4.5 ft

    The area of circle will be given by

    A=πr²

    Substituting 4.5 in for r then

    A=π*4.5²=63.6172512351933 ft²

    Rounded off as 63.62 ft²
