A shape is made with two squares. the total area of the shape is 25 square meters. one of the squares has an area is 9 square meters. what is the area of the others square?

    Total area=square1+sqrare2

    total area=25

    one is 9

    25=9+squaer2

    minus 9

    square2=16square meters

    Since 25 is the total area you take away 9 from the total area.

    25-9=16

    16 is the remaining area of the other square.
