    100 - 70% = 30

    0.30 * p (p=45)

    0.30 * 45 = 13.5

    the sale price is $13.50

    I believe it is $64.28

First you divide 45/7 to find out what 10% of 45 is since 70% is $45

45/7 = 6.42, so now you multiply 6.42 by 3 to fin out what the 30% is

    6.42 (3) = $19.28

Now you add $19.28+45 to add the 30% and the 70%, which is $64.28
