The heights of 6 randomly selected students in a classroom are 64 inches, 73 inches, 67 inches, 70 inches, 69 inches, and 65 inches. What is the mean of the students' heights?

    The answer is 68 inches. The mean is the average, so you would need to add all the numbers (408), and divide by how many there are (6) which will give you 68.
