    So when multiplying or dividing, students can use a fact from the inverse operation ... In multiplication the numbers you multiply are called factors; the answer is called the product. In division the number being divided is the dividend, the number that divides it is the divisor, and the answer is the quotient.

    When you divide and multiply fractions (whether the denominators are equivalent or not) i use this method called

    KCF

    K: Keep

    C: Change

    F: Flip

    heres an example for division 5/10 / 2/3 you would keep the first fraction

    change the operation (x)

    and flip the ast fraction 3/2

    now your equation should look like this 5/10 x 3/2

    5x3 = 15

    10x2 = 20

    so your answer sould be 15/20

    Percent form: 75%

    Decimal form: 0.75
