24 divided by 6 (the amount of sides) is 4. The square root of 4 is 2 so each side is 2 cm. 2 cm tripled is 6 cm. 6 times 6 is 36 (that is the surface area of one face). 36 times 6 (the number of faces) is 216 so the answer is 216 cm squared.
