Lola made cookies. She used 5/6 of a cup of flour and 1/2 of a cup of sugar. How much more flour than sugar did Lola use?

    1/3 cups more flour.

    we look at 5/6 and compare to 1 = 6

    we look at half and see half of 6 = 3

    5-3 = 2

    The answer is 2 parts of 6/6 more flour than sugar.

    2/6 = 1/3 more flour than sugar.
