A triangle has an area of 27 square units. Its height is 9 units. What is the length of its base?

    Area formula:

    A = (bh) / 2

    Base formula (reversed from area formula):

    B=2A/h

    =27*2/9

    =54/9

    =6 units squared

    Therefore the length of the base is 6 units squared.
