Read the following lines from Wordsworth's poem and answer the question.

The waves beside them danced; but they

Out-did the sparkling waves in glee:

A poet could not but be gay,

In such a jocund company:

I gazed-and gazed-but little thought

    I think it is A. The author makes it sound like he can't be as happy (jocund) as his company. The words that mean or have the same connotation as "happy" are dances, glee, and gay.
