It is 745.42 because if you subtract 375.98 from 38.56 it equals 337.42 then if you add 408.00 you get 745.42

    1.) Subtract $38.56 from $375.98.

    Example: $375.98-38.56. You get $337.42

    2.) Add $408.00 to $337.42.

    Example: $337.42+$408.00. You get $745.42.

3.) Therefore Mr. Kent's correct balance is $745.42.
