    3 x 2 = 6 20-6=14. 3 x 3=9 20-9=11. when there is a symbol 3x you always times by what you are being told x is so x=2 so its 3 x 2

For when x=2, You get 14.

For when x=3, You get 11.

Therefore, x=2 gives a bigger value.
