If the chance of rain today is 35% ( = 0.35), what is the probability that it will not rain? Write your answer as a decimal number (not a percent).

    The answer is. 65 as a decimal.

    Probablity=desired/totalpossible

    percent is parts out of 100

    35%=35/100

    so desired=35 and total is 100

    if desired=will rain

    then the other part is = not rain

    100-35=65

    65/100 or 65% or 0.65 is prbablity that it won't rain
