How do you solve 4/5 (k + 10) = - 12 without distributing.

    I'm not sure with this. 4/5 (K+10) = - 12 4/5k + 40/5=-12 4/5k+8=-12 4/5k=-8-12 4/5k=-20 4/5k divided by - 4/5 = - 20/-4/5 K=5/5 or 1 is it correct? or 4/5 (K+10) = - 12 4/5k + 40/5 = - 12 4/5k = 40/5•-12 4/5k=480/5 K = 24
