Solve 3.5x + 10 < - 30

    K easy 1 change 10 to - 10 add it to - 30 and get - 40 divid - 40 by 3.5 and get

    x<-11 (if im worng sorry i am in pre algebra not algebra but i am good at math not fractions wet)

    Yes the answer above is correct but to explain it

    3.5*+10 <-30 subtract 10 from both sides so this moves the 10 to the other side to get

    3.5x<-30-10 then 3.5*<-40

    then you want to move the 3.5 by dividing it to both sides so you just have the x to get x < - 40:3.5 then x <-11.43

    I know this correct.
