Uros are currency used in several European countries. on one day in October 2005, you could exchange 3$ for about 2.5 euros. how many dollars would you have to needed to get 8 euros?

    3/2.5 = x/8 ... $3 to 2.5 euros = $x to 8 euros

    this is a proportion so we cross multiply

    (2.5) (x) = (8) (3)

    2.5x = 24

    x = 24/2.5

    x = 9.60 <===
