Factorise by first completing the square.

a) x^2 + 2x - 2

b) x^2 - 10x + 12

c) x^2 + 6x - 10

d) x^2 + 16x - 1

e) x^2 - 14x + 43

g) x^2 + 8x + 9

h) x^2 - 4x - 13

i) x^2 - 12x + 25

    A) (x+1) ^2

    =x^2+2x+1

    To get - 2 from 1 you minus 3

    So the answer in complete the square format would be (x+1) ^2 - 3
