    Notes for Equations:

Solving an equation means finding a value of a variable that make the equation true. This value is called the solution of the equation. A mathematical equation is just like a balanced equation. Both sides of the equation should be equal at all times. Whatever we do to one side, has to be done on the opposite side.

Solving equations with variable on both sides, you have to move all terms to one side and rest constant terms to other.

    Notes for Powers

A Power is a short way to represent repeated multiplication. The power includes a base and an exponent. The base is the number that is multiplied. The exponent is the number of times the base is multiplied.

Note: The power of a negative base is positive if the exponent is even, and negative if the exponent is odd.
