In the scale used on a blueprint, 1/4 inch represents 3 feet. On the blueprint, what is the length of a room with an actual length of 24 feet?

    If you divide 24 by 3 you get 8, and because every 3 feet is 1/4 inch if you multiply 1/4 by 8 you'll get your answer for how large the room is on the blueprint
