    Answer: (P - 10) / 12, (2x + 5) (4x + 1)

    Step-by-step explanation:

    The length of the rectangle = 4x + 1,

    The breadth = 2x + 5

    Formula for finding perimeter of a rectangle, = 2 (L + B)

    Now, substitute for L and B in the formula, open the formula and simplify,

    = 2 (4x + 1 + 2x + 5)

    = 2 (6x + 5)

    = 12x + 10

    Therefore, the perimeter (p) of the rectangle, = 12x + 10.

    If P = 12x + 10

    12x = P - 10

    x = (P - 10) / 12

    Area of a rectangle = L x B

    = (4x + 1) (2x + 5)

    We therefore open the brackets

    (4x + 1) (2x + 5) = 4x X 2x + 4x X 5 + 1 X 2x + 1 X 5

    = 8x² + 20x + 2x + 5

    A = 8x² + 22x + 5

    A = (2x + 5) (4x + 1)
