    Let the number of seats of the smaller van be "x". Since it travels two times in the morning, it will be 2x. The bigger van has 14 more seats than the small one, so it will be x + 14. To find the value of x, the formula would be,

    65 = 2x + x + 14

    65 = 3x + 14

    65 - 14 = 3x

    51 = 3x

    51/3 = x

    17 = x

    The value of x is 17.

    Van A = 17 seats + 14 seats = 31 seats

    Van B = 2 (17 seats) = 34 seats

    Van A has 31 seats for 31 people for a single trip.

    Van B has 17 seats, and since it has two trips, it can transport 34 people.
