In order to calculate the decrease in Ronnie's utility bills, we will first calculate the change in the bills. The difference between the two bills is: 1935.67 - 862.40 = $1073.27 The percentage decrease in Ronnie's bill is: (1073.27 / 1935.67) x 100 = 55.4% Therefore, Ronnie's bill decreased by 55.4% and the answer is C.
