    In 3 years

    Step-by-step explanation:

    Father is 52 in 7 years.

    52-7=45, he is 45 right now

    45/5=9. Jane is 9 right now

    Let J be Jane's age

    Let F me fathers age

    4 (9+x) = 45+x

    36+4x=45+x (now take away 36 and x from each side)

    3x=9

    x=3

    In 3 years Jane will be 12 and her Father will be 48. 48/12=4
