Julie tried to use the law of syllogism to draw a conclusion based on the statements below. Explain why she is not able to do so. If AB is bisected by another line segment, two pairs of congruent angles are formed. If AB is bisected by another line segment, segment AB will be cut into two equal sections.

    She must use both the statements which includes either bisection of line segments only or bisection of angles only.

    Julie is not able to prove the law of syllogism by her statements because to prove the law of syllogism she must use both the statements which includes either bisection of line segments only or bisection of angles only.

    Instead of doing this she uses one statement that includes the bisection of line segment and another statement that includes the bisection of angles.
