    Answer: Sowwy if im wrong

    Step-by-step explanation:

    You first graph the slope and y - intercept.

    We know that the slope is - 4 and the y - intercept is - 1

    We know this by the formula y = mx+b

    x y

    0 - 1

    1 - 5

    To check if this is correct we find the pattern of the inputs and outputs

    x = 0 + 1 = you added 1 its increasing

    y = - 1 - 5 = - 4 = you added - 4 its decreasing

    we then do rise/run = - 4/1 = - 4 (rise is the y - intercept while as run is the x - intercept

    we solve it into the formula

    y = mx + b

    y = - 4x + b

    y = - 4x - 1

    its - 1 because the x intercept of 0 is paired with - 1 of the y intercept

    so the graph was correct

    y = - 4x - 1

    a. First I would go from (0,0) and go down 1 and put a dot then down 4 and over to the right 1 and draw a line.

    b. I would plug in numbers to see if they hit the line. If they dont hit the line then the graph is wrong, but if they do then the graph is right.
