The ratio of the volumes of two similar pyramids is 27:8. find the scale factor of the pyramids.

    The scale factor of the pyramids will be calculated as follows:

    scale factor=∛ (volume scale factor)

    but

    volume scale factor=27/8

    hence:

    scale factor=∛ (27/8) = ∛ (3³/2³) = 3/2

    Answer: 3/2
