    out of 32, 5 ride to school

    so assuming that the ratio of (total students) to (bike riders) is the same then

    32 is to 5=800 is to x

    convert to reatios

    32:5=800:x

    make as fractions

    32/5=800/x

    multiply both sides by x

    32x/5=800

    multipl y both sides by 5

    32x=4000

    divide both sides by 32

    x=125

    125 ride bike s to school
