Justin has $24 to buy a gift for his cousin, Julianne. he found a gift for $22. with 5% sales tax added on, will Justin have enough money to buy the gift for Julianne? if so, how much will he pay?

    You will take 22 and multiply it by. 05 and you will get $1.10. After that you add the 1.1 to 22 and get $23.10 in total so yes he will have enough money

    Since the sales tax is 5% (.05), in order to arrive at the total amount to be paid including the sales tax you muat multiply the amount of the purchase item $22 by 1.05 and the answer is $23.10.
