If a rope is 250 cm long and you want it two be one and a half cm how much cm should you cut off?

    248 and a half because 250 - 248.5 (a half) = 1.5 (again 1 and a half

    1/2 x=250

    so i think your answer would be 500

    x=250 / 1/2

    x=250*2/1

    x=250 * 2

    x=500
