Solve, using the substitution method.

y = 2x + 6

3x - y = 6

There are an infinite number of solutions.

(12, 30)

(14, 12)

There is no solution.

    The answer is (12, 30)

    you plug in 2x + 6 for y and get x=12. then you plug 12 in for x and y equals 30
