    (f-g) (x) = f (x) - g (x)

    = 2x - 4 - (x² + 3)

    (f-g) (x) = - x² + 2x - 7

    (f•g) (x) = 2g (x) - 4

    = 2 (x² + 3) - 4

    fg (x) = 2x² + 6x - 4
