Find the fourth term in an arithmetic sequence where the third term is 2.6 and the fifth term is - 0.4

    A3=2.6

    a4=?

    a5=-.4

    note that

    -2d=-.4-2.6

    -2d=-3

    -d=-3/2

    d=1.5

    thus the 4th term is 2.6-1.5=1.1 done
