If line xy is 2ft line xy:yz = 1:2. what is the length of line yz

    This is a simple proportion problem. On the left side of the colon : there's a 1 and xy. On the right it's yz and a 2. This means for every one xy there will be two yz. So, if there are 2 xy there are 4 yz
