Tthe grocery store is having a sale. For every 3 sticks of butter purchased, customers receive 1 free wedge of cheese. If a group of teens buys 12 sticks of butter, how many free wedges of cheese will he?

    Four sticks. 12 divided by 3 is four

    Well first of all you want to figure out how many times 3 will go in to 12 so you have 12/3 = 4 and then you times that number by 1 and you still have 4 so your answer is 4
