Shane buys 3 books. Each book is the same price. He also must pay $0.35 tax on each book. Write and expression to show the total cost of the books. If the price of each book is $5.15, how much does Shane spend in all?

    0.35*3+3*5.15=16.5 shane pays 0.35 times 3 because he buys 3 books and each book costs. 5.15 so u multiply it by 3so shane spends 16.5
