    You would just multiply 29700 by. 88 to get 88% of the price which would give you the original price. Or you can guess and check by choosing a number and multiplying it by 1.12%

    29,700•1.12=33,264 when adding % you just make it a decimal and add 1, if subtracting just make it negative
