7500 portions of strawberries have been ordered for the tournament, but because of bad weather only 5 / 6 of the order has been delivered. 10% of those delivered are given to the players and staff. How many portions of strawberries can be sold?

    The constant of proportionality is 1,250 the 5/6 is 6,250. You have to now find out the 10% by multiplying it which = 625. 625 is not the amount that they can sell that is the amount that they gave to the players and staff. So now you have to subtract 625 from 6,250 which would give you 5,625 strawberry's.
