what is the answer to this?

kenji buys 3 yards of fabric for $7.47. Then he realizes that he needs 2 more yards. How much will the extra fabric be?

    3 yards ... 7.47$ 2 yards ... x$ 3/2=7.47/x 3x=14.94 / : 3 x=4.96 so, 2 yards mean 4.96$ and 5 yards cost 12.43
