    18x+45=153

    153-45=108

    108/18 = 6

    Kaylee bought 6 shirts

    Well, We Know That She Spent A Total Amount Of 153 Dollars, And We Need To Find The Number Of Shirts. So, We Can Do:

    Number Of Shirts = S

    Jeans = J

    Cost Of Shirt = C

    And Total Amount Of Money Spent = T

    So, Using The Information, Lets Write An Equation. We Get:

    S = (T - 48) : C

    We Need To Find Shirts, So Plug In The Known Values.

    This Is Our Equation:

    S = (153 - 45) : 18

    But, Just For Fun, I Will Solve It. : D

    So, We Just Need To Simplify.

    153 - 45 = 108

    So:

    S = 108/18

    Now, Simplify The Division.

    We Get:

    S = 6

    So, Kaylee Bought 6 Shirts

    This Is The Soulution.
