Well, right from the start we know that - 23 isn't greater than + 23 for obvious reasons. - 23 is less than + 23 for even more obvious reasons. But when you think about it, - 23 and + 23 could be equal to each other. The reason for this is because the absolute value of - 23 is + 23.
Now this might not be 100% accurate and I apologize for that.
