A swimming pool is filled with water at a rate of 13.592 litres every 150 seconds. Calculate the amount of water that goes into the pool in 12 minutes.

    First convert 12 minutes in seconds. That's should be 720 seconds.

    Solution:

    13.592/150 = x/720

    9786.24 = 150 x

    X = 9786.24/150

    X = 65.2416 L

    Therefore, 65 litres of water goes into the pool in 12minutes.
