Three baby penguins and their father were sitting on an iceberg 1/2 of a meter above the surface of the water. The father dove down 4.7 meters from the iceberg into the water to catch dinner for his kids. What is the father penguin's position relative to the surface of the water?

    4.7-1/2 meter means 4.7-0.5=4.2 meter

    as father was sitiing 0.5 meter above the water surface and dove down 4.7 meters,

    so just subtract it
