The table shows the data Teuvo collected on the height of the two plants for three weeks. If plant 1 continues to grow at 1/4 inch per week, and Plant 2 continues to grow at 3/10 inch per week, how much taller is plant 2 than plant 1 at the end of week 4

    What you do is break 1/4 down so that it has the denominator of 10, and then multiply each plant by 2. This should give you your answer.
