If the sales tax rate is 7%, how much tax would Maria pay for a $325.80 bicycle and two shirts for $9.99 each?

    For the bicycle she would pay 22.806 in taxes because 325.80 multiplied by 7% as a decimal (.07) is 22.806. For the shirts she would pay 1.3986 because 19.98 has a tax of that. If she buys them together than her tax is 24.2046 because that is 7 percent of the total. You could round that and the answer would be $24.20
