The area of the garden will be given by:

Area = (area of rectangle) + (area of semi circle)

area of rectangle will be:

A=27*18=486 ft²

Area of the semi circle will be:

A=1/2πr²

A=1/2*3.14 * (18/2) ²

A=127.17 ft²

Thus the total area will be:

486+127.17

=613.17 ft²
