What is the axis of symmetry for f (x) = 2x2 - 4x + 5?

    You can find when the velocity is equal to zero, dy/dx=0

    dy/dx=4x-4

    4x-4=0

    4x=4

    x=1

    So the axis of symmetry is the vertical line x=1
