Negative exponents are one thing you'll encounter in your adventures in the math world.
They can be solved by, say if you had x ^ - 1, making it (1/x) ^1.
Essentially, what you're doing is flipping the number and then raising it to the power of the negative number, except without the negative number.
From there, you would just solve normally.
So, how is this applicable in this moment?
You're looking at k ^ - 10, which is a negative exponent. To solve this, use the method I mentioned above, or flip the bottom number, k in this case.
You would get:
(1/k) ^ 10
