How would you write a decimal that is less than 5 ten thousandths?

    The 1st digit after the decimal place is the tenths, the 2nd is the hundredths, the 3rd is the thousandths, and the 4th is the ten thousandths. So five ten thousandths is: 0.0005. Numbers less than this include:

    0.0001, 0.0002, 0.0003, 0.0004, 0.00049
